Lima Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pkg. large lima beans
salt pork or bacon (size of your choice)
1 stalk celery, diced
1 small onion, diced
1 clove garlic, diced
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Partially cook salt pork covered with water. Drain if water is salty.
Add more hot water. Set aside.
Soak limas for about 10 minutes.
Heat until boiling; turn off heat.
Combine salt pork and limas. Add seasonings, celery, onion and garlic. Cook until tender.
