Old-Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. lemon extract
    1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Cream butter and shortening in a large mixing bowl until fluffy. Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time.
    Cream well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, lemon extract and lemon juice.
    Add eggs, one at a time, blending well after each addition.
    Stir in flour and baking powder.
    Add to creamed mixture, alternately with milk.
