Peach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (29 oz.) can peaches
    1 (6 oz.) box peach jello
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mash peaches well and mix with jello and heat so jello will dissolve.
    Cool.
    Add buttermilk.
    Put in refrigerator until almost jelled; fold in Cool Whip and put in 9 x 13-inch dish.
    When firm, cut into squares.
    Other fruit may be substituted for the peaches. Sugar-free jello may also be substituted.
