Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    6 Tbsp. plain flour
    3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Cream margarine and flour.
    Add brown sugar and salt.
    Blend in milk and cook in double boiler until thick.
    Add beaten eggs and vanilla.
    Cool slightly.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Chill. Serve with or without Cool Whip.
