Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks margarine or butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. self-rising flour
    8 eggs
    4 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
    vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add only 3 cups of the flour slowly; add vanilla.
    Put remaining cup of flour on nuts; toss, then add to cake batter.
    Bake in a 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
