Texanna Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pinto beans, soaked overnight in water and 2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 large onion
    1 (4 oz.) can taco sauce
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 (4 oz.) can green chili peppers and juice
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 lb. lean ground beef
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in water and baking soda.
    Drain.
    Cover with fresh water and cook until tender.
    Saute onion and garlic in a little oil.
    Brown the meat.
    Mix all other ingredients into this mixture.
    Add to cooked beans and cook all together until the flavors are well blended.
