Sauteed Squid Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 squid steaks
    flour (for dredging)
    1 beaten egg
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    chopped fresh parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    dried basil
    lemon wedges
Preparation
    Season flour with basil, salt and pepper to taste.
    Dredge steaks in flour; dip in egg.
    Place on rack and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
    Melt butter and oil in pan.
    Saute steaks quickly, two minutes per side on medium-high heat.
    Remove; sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
    Serves 6 people.
