Grandma'S Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. shortening or lard
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. white sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour, shortening, brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar thoroughly.
    Remove 1 cup and reserve for crumb topping.
    To the rest, add eggs and spices.
    Stir soda into sour milk and add to cake mixture.
    Beat until well mixed.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour cake batter into pan.
    Crumble topping over. Sprinkle chocolate chips over topping.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
