White Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. white chocolate
1/2 c. hot water
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt chocolate in hot water.
Cool.
Cream butter and sugar. Mix in 4 egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add chocolate mixture and vanilla.
Sift flour, soda and salt. Add alternately with buttermilk.
Fold in 4 stiffly beaten egg whites.
Gently stir in pecans and coconut.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Makes 3 layers.
