Lemon Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1/4 lb.) butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 lemons
cream
Preparation

Mix flour and salt with butter until like pebbles.
Add water just to make stiff dough.
Put 2 cups water in a saucepan.
Add sugar and juice of lemons.
Bring to a boil and drop dough by spoonfuls into boiling liquid.
Repeat until all dough is dropped in.
On low heat, boil 20 minutes longer, covered.
Serve hot or cold with cream or butter and sugar if desired.
Serves 6.
