Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large cabbage leaves
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. instant rice
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/3 c. diced onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
    4 qt. water
Preparation
    Pour 4 quarts water in pot.
    Cover and bring to a boil over medium-high for about 10 minutes.
    Place cabbage leaves in water. Cover and remove from heat.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Brown meat; add rice, egg, milk, celery, onions, salt and pepper.
    Mix well. Remove cabbage leaves from water.
    Place 1/2 cup of meat mixture on each cabbage leaf.
    Roll and secure with toothpick.
    Pour water out of pot.
    In pot, mix tomato sauce, 1 cup water and oregano leaves.
    Place cabbage rolls in sauce.
    Place pot on stove, cover and simmer for 5 hours or cook at medium-high for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until meat is done.
    Keep warm for serving.
