Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or oleo
1 scant tsp. soda
pinch of salt
4 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Blend sugar and butter.
Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with beaten eggs to first mixture.
Add vanilla.
Roll on floured board until very thin and cut with a cookie cutter. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
