Mock Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 cup butter, melted
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 cup white Karo syrup
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    1/2 cup coconut
    1/2 walnuts, chopped
    1 (9 or 10 inch) pie shell, bought or homemade
Preparation
    Mix sugar and syrup together.
    Add eggs, butter, and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 - 40 minutes until filling is set. Cool completely before serving.
