Coke Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening or 1/2 c. shortening and 1/2 c. oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour (sifted)
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Coke (last)
2 eggs

Preparation

Mix together ingredients.
Add Coke last.
Fold in gently. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
Ice with chocolate frosting. You may make layers or sheet cake.
