Microwave Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut into cubes
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
    1 (4 oz.) can whole mushrooms, drained
    1 Tbsp. snipped chives
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. dry red wine or water
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    hot buttered noodles
Preparation
    Place meat, onion and garlic in a 2-quart glass casserole. Cover with glass lid or wax paper.
    Microwave 8 to 10 minutes on High.
    Stir in broth, mushrooms and chives.
