Sourdough Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sourdough starter
    1 c. lukewarm milk
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix together sourdough starter, milk and 1 1/2 cups flour. Beat until smooth.
    Add eggs and oil, beating well.
    Blend together in a small bowl the sugar, salt, baking soda and 1/2 cup flour.
    Add to sourdough mixture and mix well.
    Turn out onto 1 cup of flour on bread board.
    Knead lightly, working most of the flour into the dough.
    Dough will be very soft.
    Place dough in well-greased bowl and turn once to grease top.
    Cover with waxed paper and set in warm place to rise until doubled.
