Shrewsbury (Pound) Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs to sugar mixture, one at a time.
Combine flour and baking powder. Alternating with flour mixture, add milk, vanilla and salt to batter.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
