Tropical Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
2/3 c. milk
2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. eggs
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. grated coconut
1 1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
6 to 8 drops yellow food coloring
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Add baking powder to flour and sift 3 times.
Blend butter and sugar with coloring added.
Prepare 1 (10 x 4-inch) tube pan by greasing with solid shortening.
Cover bottom, sides and tube with paper.
Grease paper also.
