Meringue Shells - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites (room temperature)
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine egg whites, vinegar, vanilla and salt.
    Beat until frothy.
    Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beat in until stiff peaks form (do not underbeat).
    Spoon meringue into six equal portions on ungreased brown bag (paper).
    Do not use recycled paper.
    Using back of spoon, shape meringues into circles, each about 4 inches in diameter, then shape each circle into a shell (sides should be about 1 1/2 inches high).
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool from draft.
    Fill with desired topping (Lemon Topping, recipe included).
