Mary Ann'S Special Shrimp Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bacon
3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1/2 c. celery
6 carrots, diced
1/2 c. onions
3 Tbsp. flour
4 c. water
2 c. diced potatoes
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste
4 to 5 lb. shrimp
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can cream-style corn
1 small can Pet milk
Preparation

Fry until crisp, bacon.
Crumble and set aside.
Saute in bacon drippings, celery, carrots and onions.
When done, stir in flour.
Add water, potatoes and bay leaf.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer 20 minutes.
To this, add shrimp and both corns. Simmer until smooth and add milk.
Serve bacon atop each serving. Can be served from a crock-pot.
Can also be made leaving out shrimp.
