Cheese Stuffed Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. Italian style bread crumbs
3/4 tsp. salt
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. black pepper, ground
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 eggs, divided
3/4 c. Ricotta cheese
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation

Combine first six ingredients with 1 egg.
Combine remaining egg with Ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese and parsley.
Press 1/3 meat mixture into a 9-inch loaf pan.
Make shallow well lengthwise in center.
Spoon cheese mixture into well.
Cover with remaining meat mixture.
Pat firmly at sides.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes or until done. If desired, top with sliced Provolone cheese and bake for 10 minutes.
