Rose'S Hot Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck hot banana peppers, slice as desired
    1/3 c. salt to 1 gal. water
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. minced garlic
Preparation
    Soak peppers 2 to 4 hours in salt water.
    Drain.
    Place in jars.
    Bring to boiling and add solution of oil, sugar, vinegar and garlic.
    Cover and seal.
    Cold pack, after water boils, 5 minutes to assure seal.
