Pork Chops On Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pork chops
    1/2 c. water
    1 small onion, sliced
    2 c. rice
    2 cans consomme
    1 small bell pepper, sliced
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in a skillet, then remove from skillet.
    Add water to skillet; bring to a boil and pour over rice that has been spread in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Lay pork chops on top of rice. Add consomme.
    Top with onions and bell pepper.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
