Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed pretzels
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 can crushed pineapple
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    8 oz. cream cheese
Preparation
    Mix together pretzels, margarine and 1/2 of sugar.
    Layer as crust on bottom of pan.
    Mix together Cool Whip, cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Layer on pretzel crust.
    Drain pineapple; cook juice, remaining sugar and cornstarch until thick.
    Add pineapple; pour over top.
