Southern Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. pureed cooked sweet potatoes
2 c. cream
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
9-inch single crust pastry
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
Mix well until blended.
Pour into pastry lined pie plate.
Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 375\u00b0 and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer until crust is golden and custard is set.
