Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef flank steak
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 green peppers, cored and cut in 1-inch pieces
2 cans crushed tomatoes (16 oz.)
1 (19 oz.) can bean sprouts, drained
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
6 Tbsp. water
cooked rice
Preparation

Slice flank steak across the grain into thin strips.
Brown steak.
Add onions, pepper, tomatoes, bean sprouts, garlic salt, ginger and water.
Cook until tender, then add the cornstarch. Mix with a little bit of water for thickening.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve over rice.
