Simple Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. fruity olive oil
    4 cloves minced garlic
    1 small onion, minced
    1 Tbsp. dried rosemary
    1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes (and their juice)
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. chopped fresh basil
    salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, heat oil and saut garlic, onion and rosemary.
    Add tomatoes and their juice.
    Stir in sugar, salt and pepper.
    Bring to gentle boil, uncovered, for about 10 minutes. Add basil.
    Cover and let stand for at least 30 minutes.
    Store covered in refrigerator.
