Napa Valley Chicken Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 chicken breasts, skinned and boned
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. each minced garlic and paprika
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. olive oil
4 green onions, sliced
8 fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/2 c. sour cream
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
Preparation

Wash chicken and pat dry.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, oregano, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.
Dust the chicken with all the mixture (this will help thicken the sauce).
In a large skillet, heat the oil. Brown the chicken. Arrange chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with the onions and mushrooms.
In a separate bowl, mix together the sour cream, tomato paste and salt and pepper to taste.
Pour over the chicken. Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until chicken is done.
Remove cover the last 5 minutes of cooking time. Good served with fluffy rice, marinated asparagus and poached pears with lingonberry sauce for dessert.
