Pumpkin Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
3 beaten egg whites
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine egg yolk, brown sugar, milk, salt and spices. Cook in double boiler until thick. Soften gelatin in cool water. Add to hot mixture. When cool, beat egg whites stiff. Add 1/2 cup sugar. Add to pumpkin mixture. Pour in two 9-inch pie shells. Top with whipped cream. Enjoy.
