Lemon Gems - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

In bowl combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar and lemon rind. With pastry blender, cut butter into dry ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Pat crumbs evenly into 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake until lightly browned at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
