Oat Bran, Nuts, Raisins And Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Quaker Oat bran cereal
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. raisins
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. skim milk
    2 slightly beaten egg whites
    1/4 c. honey or molasses
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. whole wheat flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. low-fat milk (1% milk fat)
    4 eggs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine, cooled
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine flours and salt.
    With blender at low speed, blend milk, eggs and butter or margarine.
    Slowly add dry ingredients and process until smooth.
    (Can be made ahead.
    Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.)
