Picante Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. tomatoes, chopped
1 large green pepper
1 to 2 hot peppers
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 large onion
1/2 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. oil
1 to 2 buds garlic
Preparation

Cook 30 to 60 minutes or until thick.
Add 1/4 teaspoon basil and 1/4 teaspoon oregano.
Process in water bath 30 minutes. Makes 2 pints.
