Cherry-Cheese Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
    1 egg, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
    2 (8 oz.) cans crescent rolls
    1 c. cherry pie filling
    powdered sugar glaze
Preparation
    Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk and extract until smooth. Remove rolls from cans and arrange the 16 pieces, overlapping each other, around a pizza pan with long points in the center and the other long end hanging over edge of pan.
