Butter Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix the sugar, cornstarch and salt well.
Stir in the hot water and cook, stirring, until clear and thick.
Add butter and vanilla; cool.
This is delicious with any cake or pudding.
