Orange Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs
4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. chopped dates
1 lb. orange slice candy
2 c. chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. grated orange peel

Preparation

Mix all
ingredients
together.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours in a greased and floured tube pan.
