Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. steak in finger strips
6 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1/2 lb. mushrooms (fresh or canned)
4 Tbsp. tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 large onion, sliced
1/2 c. beef broth
1 Tbsp. sherry
1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation

Brown meat in 3 tablespoons butter (do not cook through).
Set aside.
Saute onion in 3 tablespoons butter for 3 minutes.
Add mushrooms; saute until tender.
Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, beef broth and sherry; mix well.
Return beef.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add sour cream and blend.
Heat 2 minutes; do not boil.
Serve over rice or noodles.
