Peach Preserves Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (12 oz.) jar peach preserves
Preparation
    Cream butter
    and
    sugar.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after
    each
    addition.
    Sift
    flour, cinnamon, cloves and baking soda
    together.
    Add
    dry ingredients to butter mixture gradually with buttermilk, chopped pecans and peach preserves. When mixed, pour into a greased angel food or Bundt pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for
    1 hour.
    You may also use 3 small pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for
    45 minutes.
    This cake freezes well and stays moist a long time.
