Swedish Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. oil
1/4 tsp. ground cardamon seed
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. filling (fruit preserves, not paste or cheese filling)
Preparation

Combine yeast and water according to directions on package. Meanwhile, combine oil with sugar.
Gradually beat in eggs, softened yeast and milk.
Add flour and salt; beat briskly.
Chill in refrigerator about 2 hours.
Roll out on a floured board into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
Brush with melted butter and divide into 3 equal portions.
Fold one over the other for three layers.
