Cabbage Slaw(Can Be Frozen) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 green pepper, shredded
1 carrot, shredded
1 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation

Shred cabbage; add salt and let set 1 hour.
Squeeze out all the liquid, then add the green pepper and carrot.
Combine and boil the vinegar, sugar and spices.
Allow the syrup to cool, then pour over the shredded cabbage and vegetables.
Place in a covered container with a tight lid.
