Sweet And Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    3 c. thinly shredded (1/4-inch) red cabbage (about 1/4 medium
    1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and finely diced
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. golden raisins
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground allspice
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Melt the butter in microwave-safe 2-quart glass casserole with a lid, about 1 minute.
    Stir in cabbage, apple, onion, vinegar, brown sugar, golden raisins, salt and allspice.
    Cover and microwave on High power for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring 4 times until the cabbage is very soft.
    Let stand, covered, for 2 minutes.
    Add freshly ground pepper; taste and adjust seasonings.
    Serve hot or warm.
