Canned Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 gal. snapped and cleaned green beans
1 gal. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
Preparation

Boil and sterilize jars.
Prepare jar lids.
In large pot, bring water, sugar, vinegar and salt to boil, stirring until sugar and salt have melted.
Add beans and bring back to a boil.
Cook 45 minutes.
Pack in jars and seal.
Makes about 7 to 8 quarts.
