Funnel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour (all-purpose)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg and add milk.
    Sift flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda together.
    Add egg and milk to dry ingredients. Beat until smooth.
    Heat oil in deep fryer to 375\u00b0.
    Cover the opening of a 5/8-inch funnel with finger and pour small amount of batter into the funnel.
    Slowly swirl funnel over hot oil, releasing the batter to make cakes about 6-inches in diameter. Fry until brown.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
