Guess Again Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 medium onion, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    6 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Pare, slice and boil carrots until tender.
    Mash carrots well. Add butter, onion and cheese. Place this mixture into 1-quart buttered casserole.
    Sprinkle top with unflavored bread crumbs. Dot with butter.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven covered for 40 minutes.
