Italian Broccoli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small bunches broccoli
    1 onion, chopped
    8 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. olive oil
    3/4 c. Italian flavored bread crumbs
    1/2 c. Parmesan
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Preparation
    Cook broccoli until very tender.
    Drain and mash, leaving some bits of broccoli.
    In large skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil; add broccoli.
    Add bread crumbs and cheese and stir until blended.
    Add egg; remove from heat and stir until blended.
    Add seasonings.
    Stir to blend.
