Ingredients

1 Tbsp. oil
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
4 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. fine soft bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. rice
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
freshly ground pepper
parsley (optional)
Preparation

In a large saucepan, heat oil and saute onion and garlic until golden brown. Add tomato sauce, water and bouillon cubes and heat to boiling.
