Pottsfield Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. Red Tomatoes
    3 lb. Green Tomatoes
    1 Small Cabbage
    2 Bunches Celery
    1 qt. onions
    1/2 c. Salt
    3 pts. Vinegar
    2 lb. Sugar
    2 Tbsp. mixed Spices
    1/2 c. Mustard Seed
    2 Red Peppers
Preparation
    Chop tomatoes and grind the rest of the ingredients.
    Let stand overnite, then drain; add 3 pints vinegar, 2 pounds of sugar, 2 tablespoons mixed spices tied in a bag, 1/2 cup mustard seed.
    Cook 2 hours then jar.
