Grandma'S Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. sifted, self-rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
1 tsp. soda
2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening and stir in yeast and buttermilk.
Knead dough until smooth.
Roll and cut as desired.
Bake on middle rack of preheated oven at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Dough can be covered and refrigerated for a week, using as needed.
