Chicken Pepper Skillet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole large chicken breasts
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cooking sherry
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. sugar
    2 medium green peppers
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
    salad oil
    1/2 c. water
    2 pitas
Preparation
    Cut each chicken breast in half; remove skin and bones.
    Cut chicken into 1/4-inch thick strips.
    In medium bowl, mix chicken, soy sauce, sherry, cornstarch, garlic and sugar.
    Set aside.
