Maryann'S Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/3 c. butter
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
    1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    whipped cream
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped fine
    1 large egg
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 c. hot water
    walnut halves or pecan halves (for decoration)
Preparation
    Combine flour and brown sugar.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Add walnuts or pecans.
    Press firmly in an even layer over bottom of 6 1/4 x 10 x 1 1/4-inch baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes until lightly browned.
