Ritz Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. broken pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites
    20 Ritz crackers
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Roll crackers into crumbs.
    Mix with 1/3 cup sugar and pecans. Beat egg whites until stiff, adding 1/3 cup sugar gradually.
    Add vanilla.
    Combine with the dry mixture and pour into well-greased 9-inch pie pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Cool 15 minutes.
    Top with whipped cream.
    Chill immediately.
